In 2003, First United Methodist Church of Fort Dodge, Iowa began a mobile ministry intent on delivering the message of God to the community of Fort Dodge and beyond. Since then, the faith community of Fort Dodge has joined in participation of this way of sharing God's love.

Created on the principles of John Wesley, founder of the Methodist Church in 18th century England, we go out to people in their neighborhoods, sharing the love of God through Jesus Christ. 

Together with First Christian Church, First Congregational Church, Riverside United Methodist Church, and Epworth Methodist Church of Fort Dodge, we offer Sidewalk Sunday School at seven neighborhood sites in the community. To see photos and a short video of Sidewalk, click here.
